Root canal treatment in Etimesgut Ankara — DentAden

Microscope-assisted techniques in our clinic deliver consistently high success rates with minimal postoperative discomfort.

Root canal therapy (endodontics) removes infected pulp tissue, relieves pain and preserves your natural tooth. Treatment is generally delivered across one to two visits, structured as follows:

  • Clinical examination and radiographs to confirm pulp involvement
  • Local anaesthesia so the appointment stays comfortable
  • Caries removal and conservative access to the pulp chamber
  • Cleaning, shaping and disinfection of the canals, sealed with gutta-percha
  • Definitive restoration with a crown or bonded filling, tailored to the diagnosis

Wherever clinically possible we prefer to save the natural tooth — it protects the surrounding bone and resolves your symptoms sustainably.

Frequently Asked

Common patient questions

Is root canal treatment painful?
The procedure itself is performed under local anaesthesia and is not painful. A mild sensitivity for 1–2 days afterwards is normal and self-limiting.
Root canal or extraction?
Preserving the natural tooth is always our first choice. Extraction is recommended only if the tooth genuinely cannot be saved.
How many visits are needed?
Most cases are completed in one or two visits, depending on the complexity of the canal anatomy.
